incredibly romantic belly dance costume Start Price USD 325.00 Current Price USD 325.00 Time Left - Bid Count 0 Buy It Now Price USD 365.00 Reserve Price - Start Time Wednesday, September 03, 2008 End Time Wednesday, September 10, 2008 Location Ashland, OR See more about 'incredibly romantic belly dance costume' Description Incredibly Romantic Bridal/Belly Dance Costume   Of the three bridal costumes I have made so far this year, this one is by far my favorite!  I love the many shades of white, cream, and gold, and the airy, soft, flounciness of the skirt and sleeves, and the general fairytale feeling it inspires.   Whether you are expressing your self as fantasy “ gypsy”, renaissance country maiden, or Queen of the May bride, you just can’t get any more romantic and feminine than this soft, lushly  textured spill of  shimmery lace, ruffles, and roses.  The photos hardly do it justice.  The many pieces can be combined for subtle changes in look that go from the fairytale glamor of bridal, down to country girl innocence and simplicity, from very modest to enticingly sexy.  It looks great on everyone, too.  I have tried it on several models (including myself…..and I am 59), and it seems to flatter many  shapes and disguise a multitude of sins, and it is comfortable for wearing and for dancing.  My beautiful model, Mariana, didn’t want to take it off!.   Pieces in this collection include:  satiny, full-circle, underskirt with white and gold ruffled flounce edge, shimmering lace over skirt, triangular net embroidered and  bejeweled hip scarf/shawl,  off the shoulder peasant blouse with gathered sleeves and silk wrist ruffles, gold and white brocade laced bodice,  heavy bridal lace, bejeweled, gold and pearl tie belt,  3 yard organza veil, ribboned and jeweled fabric rose head piece, a  large rose corsage for skirt and a smaller one for your hair or the  back of  the veil.   Measurements:  Vest is 32-38 inches adjustable by front lacing. Belt is 36-40+ adjustable by tying. Skirt is 37 inches hip to floor. Blouse is medium and will fit up to 38 bust (possibly 40).     All my costumes are created to be as adjustable in size as possible.  The casings are left open in one place to allow you to take in or extend the elastics at waist.  The neck straps are left long enough for you to make adjustments up or down for comfort.  The belts either tie, or in the case of belts that are in front and back pieces, have only the hooks attached leaving you to attach the eyes for the appropriate fit for your size.  I will be happy to make whatever adjustments you might need for you wherever possible if you so desire.     All of my art is original, detailed, and one of kind.  I am available to create custom designs for individuals and troupes desiring belly dance  costumes, as well as bridal  and specialty costumes.   Place a Bid!
