When I bought it, I was told it was one of two made for the window display for YSL in New York.I have worn it only once, to the Royal Albert Hall in London - I received many compliments! I intended  to keep it to wear for my wedding, but I no longer fit into it hence it's sale! It looks wonderful dressed up or down - I am extremely sad to sell it! This piece has a lot of weight  to it, because of the heavy beading, sequins, crystal drops and diamante that embellish it, but when it is on you hardly know it is there! It is a showstopping piece! This is the piece that inspired me to start collecting vintage clothing. So wonderfully sparkly!This item will require dry cleaning by a specialist with experience of working with heavily beaded clothing. It was cleaned after it was last worn. Some age related darkening to the inside lining , not visible when worn. Otherwise, very good condition.Fastens down the left hand side from the armpit to the waist with concealed poppers.
