The cannon actually shots the harpoon it works this way: you pull the trigger back then you insert the arrow and release the trigger this way the mechanism is ready to shoot. The arrow shoots about 3 meters but the strength of the shoot is harmless unless you point it directly to your eyes. The cannon pivots in the suport of the cane up and down to aim. The cannon is made of iron and wood. The ending tip is made of iron. The cannon is screwed to the cane and can be disabled to shipping. Obviously the cannon with the string wrapped arround the arrow doesn`t works with the string attached this way you must untwist the string and then arm the mechanism, the safe / recovery string is added and it is not the one coming with the piece.
