Vintage Gunne Sax Crochet Dress Victorian Wedding Dress Ethereal Victorian Gown by Gunne Sax circa 1960s with label That reads Romantic Renaissance Bridal Collection in size 9 Jessica McClintock bought the Gunne Sax company in 1969 which became famous for creating romantic nostalgic dresses. Her designs borrowed from Early American, Victorian and Renaissance styles. Some were simple others quite fancy. They were worn to school dances, as prom dresses and even as alternative bridal gowns. This beauty is done in white cotton with lots of crochet & antique lace.  It has a high fitted waist with  ruffled bust & high victorian neck. So many nice details to this dress! The same crochet  trim defines the bottom & cuffs. The arms have tucks & button sleeves. This stunning vintage gown is extremely full! Lots of fabric to this this vintage gown.  It would be perfect for an informal garden party dress or outdoor wedding dress. Also a lovely outfit if you are attending a Victorian costume party.
