(length of pieces varies slightly because this is a handwoven product)   Width Piece 1 - 1 1/ inches or 3.0 cent. Piece 2 - 3/4 inches or 2.0 cent   Item is Hand woven by the Seller   Viking Lady Traders tablet woven bands are designed to be used as Trim, for traditional clothing.  This pattern is especially appropriate for Migration Age, Viking, Medieval or Renaissance clothing. Woven in lovely combination of slate blue, bright red,  and natural grey wool thread, this pattern is special because the colors are so very Viking!  Perfect for your high status persona or happy Saxon rader with an eye for color.  While this trim stands out from a distance, colors are totally natural and do not look in anyway modern.  While a person of almost any status might have had such trim if they were good with a dye pot, the blues and reds were special favorites of the warrior classes from the Migration onwards.  The simple diamond pattern also works well for later period dress when adorned with pearls or other accent that you might wish to add for that personal touch!    This special deal includes two pieces of trim woven in a set of related patterns but in two different widths.  This type of set  is perfect for when you want a narrow band around the neck or sleeves and a wider one along the bottom hem, or decorating a women’s Apron dress with strape attached.
