Description
Here are a great pair of Antique Boots. Based on their styling, they are at least 100 years old, or more, and still have plenty of life left in them. Made from reddish brown leather with a cotton lining and wood heels. There is small punch detailing at the toes of the boots and also around the main part of them. I believe the laces are the originals, they have metal tips on all four ends. Inside both boots, near the top, are the numbers 345 1643L. There are no other markings on them. As you can see from the photos, they could use a fresh polish and minor repair to the heels and soles. Your local shoe repair should be able to remedy this for a small fee. These boots would make a lovely display just the way they are. However, if one's feet were small enough, these could definately be worn. The outside measures 10 inches in length and 3 inches wide. I tried to get a good inside measurement and came up with 9 3/4 inches long. If I had to guess, I'd say that a foot measuring 9- 9 1/2 inches long and 2 3/4 inches wide should be able to fit in these. My daughter wears a 6 to 6 1/2 and they are just to the point that she's uncomfortable. So, maybe a shoe size 5 to 5 1/2 would fit? Your guess is as good as mine. Perfect for the reenactor! Don't forget, if these don't fit you, maybe they will fit your daughter or granddaughter.
