Someone told me it could also be a drummer boy outfit. Most components of this outfit seem to be from the late 1800's, but there are a few places where snaps were added in the early 1900's-1920's. The outfit is made of silk and adorned with 47 gold buttons, gold cording, and some nice lace. Some of the silk has is damaged, but the majority is intact. The vest has the worst damage, being the huge hole in the back of it. It has five gold buttons, two decorational pocket flaps, and it closes with metal snaps. The jacket has two big holes, one on the back of each tail, and a small hole on the right side near the collar. There are 30 buttons on the front of the jacket and 4 on the back. The pants are in excellent condition- no damage to call. The pants close at one side with one metal snap and one hook-and-eye. Each pant-leg also closes with a hook and eye. The lace collar and sleeve ruffles are in excellent condition. All damage is photographed and called. Packed weight will be 1 pound and our zip code is 61801.
