It is embroidered in silk threads over a fine quality on silk-cotton fabric of dark smoke-blue color. The embroidery displays rosettes and "boteh" almond-shaped motif - the symbols of fertility and life - with curling sprouts.  Such designs of chapans used to be very rare and were made only for persons of high rank by special orders. The needle workers applied all their skills and vivid imagination to the item. It takes quite long period of time to make such a beautiful robe. The lining is made of cotton cloth. It can take a lot of time to describe this item, and only one look at the photos is enough to see what is meant by all the words.
