This listing is for a Civil War style corded petticoat which will be custom made to fit the measurements provided by the winning bidder. I use 100% cotton muslin and cotton 1/4 inch diameter cording, all prewashed to not shrink. The petticoat is made to be mid calf length like the original period ones were and is set onto a waistband which closes with a button and buttonhole. The petticoat has 12 rows of cords sewn into the bottom two thirds and again, this is based on original, antique corded petticoats. The diameter is about 70" which ensures a bit of loft without the chance of the petticoat collapsing in upon itself. The measurements needed are waist and length from waist to mid calf. I recommend wearing at least two, stiffly starched tucked petticoats over this for the maximum loft possible. I accept Paypal and USPS Money Orders only.
