This listing is for a Civil War reproduction cage crinoline to wear under your historic mid Victorian gowns or dresses. The cage will be made to fit the measurements of the winning bidder and is therefore a custom made item. I make these with 100% cotton twill tape strips, buckram covered hooping steel and they close with hooks and eyes at center front. They are riveted together and I have finally come up with a system so that the rivets will not pull through the twill tape as they do on so many cages out there. I finish off the cut ends of the hooping steels with metal tips securely fastened so that there will be no metal ends to poke or snag on your clothing. As you can see, there are 6 full hoop steels and three partial ones at the top which give a very nice, mid Century appropriate bell shape. I suggest wearing this with two over the hoop petticoats for the best effect. The measurements I will need to make this cage are waist, hips and length from waist to floor. These should be taken over your period underpinnings esp. your corset. The cage will be made to the circumference that you request up to 120" (larger than that and it is not really period accurate).  I accept Paypal and USPS Money Orders only.
