I have reduced the price of this dress due to my error in cutting it out.  I cut the front too short and had to add a piece to the bottom.  It's hardly noticeable, but it is a 'flaw'.  I usually sell this dress for $600 due to the increasing cost of velvet so it's a great price at $100 off!  See the pictures for details. This vision in burgundy velvet is a beautiful costume reproduction of the dress Scarlett wore to Ashley's party.  The dress was everything Scarlet was, her beauty, her spirit and her fearless attitude are all captured perfectly in the folds of this crimson bejeweled dress.    We have attempted to recreate a likeness of  this dress for some beautiful "Scarlett at Heart" to wear and showcase  her own charm and beauty.  Created out of burgundy velvet, the dress has been trimmed with hand applied red "jewels" in goldtone settings, along with burgundy  tear drop crystals across the top of the bodice.   We have custom dyed ostrich feathers which adorn the gown from the bodice to the train.  Also included are a pair of burgundy gloves and a beautiful sparkle tulle shawl.  This gown will no doubt be the talk on any party and a  wonderful addition to any Gone With The Wind collection.
