Mirrored Double Gradient means that the top third and bottom third of the lense mirror reflects glare more strongly than the center line of focal area. This significantly reduces the glare of the sun/sky and ground reflections as water or a boat deck, leaving the center line the "neutral gray green". These Sunglasses are in excellent carefully used condition with only minor frosty scratches on the top of the frame bridge and six snall scratches on the right lense lower left quadrant. I have not found it a problem as they are outside mynormal focal field. The nose pads and over and behind ear pads are excellent. The side wire hinges are tight. The top of the frame bridge is stamped "B&L RAY BAN USA", The underside of the fram is stamped "B&L RAY BAN  58  14" Both lenses are etched, adjacent to the frame side hinge, with the BL logo. The case is near flawless, all stiching and felt liner intact. The original "Mirrored lense" cleaning cloth is included. Domestic USPS Priority Mail, Delivery Conformation is $799.
