This jacket saw service in the air over the European Theater during WWIIIt has no identifying designs or insignias on the outside except for the Army Air Forces emblem that is embossed on the left shoulder. It is in exceptional shape for it's age but there are two things I wouldlike to point out. (1) There are a few teeth missing from the zipper, which I am sure is not unusual for clothing of this age. (2) There is an old repairdone on the right sleeve directly above the cuff on the underside of the sleeve.It looks to have been done a long time ago, it was very well done and is still nice and tight.I am quite sure you will be very please with this jacket.Any questions you may have or any other pictures you wouldlike please ask before bidding.
