(Star Wars)' Description This is a movie quality Darth Vader Costume. This is not a costume sold by Rubies or other companies which use faux leather and lesser quality accessories. This costume was used to escort George Lucas at the Rose Bowl when George did the coin toss as well as several 501st events. The helmet in this costume was made from the molds of Star Wars Episode IV, A New Hope. The costume comes with a three piece real leather suit, an inner and outer cape, shin guards, leather cod piece, leather gloves, body and shoulder armor, lighted belt, a chest piece with sequenced lights, and of course the helmet with a cloth head cover for your head. All lights run off of regular batteries. The lighted chest piece has a speaker behind it and an MP3 player which plays Darth Vader’s breathing at a constant loop. The helmet is painted with the accurate two toned color and painted with automotive paint. Installed in the helmet are two small fans which run off of 9volt batteries. The bell portion of the helmet can be removed from the face piece. This costume will fit someone from 5’7” to 6’5”. If you are short I have a set of black boots with platform soles which are the same color of the boots and blend right in. I also sell an authentic light saber should you want to clip one to the belt. Below is a picture of me in the costume at a fund raising event and on Halloween. There are some minor wear marks in some places and because of this I recommend you make arrangements with me to see the costume in person before you buy. I have no problem with someone wanting to see the costume in person before you make the purchase or before you bid. The last thing I want is for someone to spend their hard earned money and feel they did not get a quality product. I am in Corona California. Once you see it, you will be able to see the quality of the costume. I am only accepting cash and Paypal at this time. There is a lot to this costume and if I were to ship it, many pieces would have to be shipped seperately to reduce the chance of damage. Because I do not want the costume damaged, for now, this item will be for pick up only. This costume I am selling as a whole and will not be piecing out.
