Size: Monique Lhuillier 8       Measurements: 36.5 Bust, 28 Waist  I purchased this Monique Lhuillier Peaches and Cream Corset in March 2008 from Chic Parisian boutique in Miami, Florida at full price. I wore it for a few hours on my July 19, 2008 wedding (I changed into another dress a few hours later) and have gotten it professionally cleaned. It is a ML size 8. According to the ML published size chart and measurements that I undertook, the size 8 corset has a bust of 36.5' and a waist of 28'.  I am a street size 4 and made some alterations to make it more form fitting and slightly smaller to a size 34 bust and 27 waist.  However, all of the alterations are adjustable.  In short, the back of the corset has some straps that are first latched on before it is completely zipped up. These straps have been folded (doubled over) and then sewn in place (which is reversable).  Bendable under wire has been added to the top of the bra cups to make them moldable and able to be tightened around the upper bust area.  This alteration is also removable. I have spent over $400 in alterations and cleaning costs alone, and the corset currently retails for upwards of $3800.  I am a motivated seller and have priced the auction to sell. I recieved many compliments on how ornate the top is on my big day. The pictures barely do justice to the lace, crystal and pearl-like detail.
