I hope you are inspired and they make you feel nostalgic for days of romance that you can still recreate when you slip on a lovely gown made of the softest natural fabrics such as silks,cottons and embroideries and MORE! ***GORGEOUS Marie Antoinette Toile Gown*** is made with black & white roses toile cotton for the main body of this gown with a solid black dotted swiss cotton center bodice and underskirt!Bodice is fully lined and interlined and all seams are french sewn! (This is a quality made garment and not the cheap costumy kind.) (In the first photo the edges of the lace have faded out so please see the photo near bottom to see the detail of the venecian lace that edges both side of split front skirt!) Corseted bodice is like having a built in corset since it is boned with rows and rows of stays.A MOST flattering fit for any figure when you pull the laces tight to give you the feminine curves by pulling your waist in and pushing your chest up! Metal grommets of steel, laced with pretty black ribbons are the back closure.Neckline is just low enough to reveal your feminine charms and has ivory netted lace ruched over a layer of black venecian lace!The netting is then hand beaded with pearls and silver bugle beads that come to a center bow with a pearl brooch stitched into the center! The overskirt bustles up with ribbons and can also be worn unbustled if you like. Sleeves are over the top "Marie"dripping with 2 layers of venecian lace. A pannier (side hoops not included) are to be worn under skirts for the authentic silhouette. The dramatic and Beautiful sleeves are the flounced toile and then edged with 2 layeres of venecian lace! For sure you will be the Belle of Any Ball or Masquerade in this lovely gown! Will fit a bust size 34" to 36"and a waist size of 28" to 30". Hips are free.
