What are the blackout dates on these vacations? The week before, during or after any major holiday and major conventions at some resorts. Weekends also incur a small surcharge. Once you receive your reservation form and submit it with the dates that you would like to stay, the reservation service will try to find a hotel in the program that can accommodate your request. Hotels vary, depending upon the location. Some of our hotel & resort partners include Hilton, Hyatt, Westin, Raddisson, Holiday Inn, Best Western, Quality Inn, Marriott, Wyndham and Sheraton. In some cities (like Orlando and Las Vegas), you will often have the choice of staying in 2 or more different areas. Some hotels provide mini-suites complete with microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker. The hotels are ALWAYS guaranteed by the Travel Agency to have a 3-Star or better rating. How Can Your Reservation Service Get These Hotel Deals? Hotels are rarely completely occupied except for major holidays. Rather than have empty space with no people using the restaurants and lounges, many hotels contract with travel agencies to fill the space at a huge discount. The travel agencies and hotels want repeat business. The hotel also wants people using the facilities, especially if they have a casino in the hotel. Can I bring a friend?? Yes! Your certificate is good for 2 adults, age 21 or older. Can I use two certificates for the same city, or use them back to back? No. You may only redeem one hotel certificate per family, per city, per year. That means that you can redeem for different cities in the same year, but you could not redeem 2 certificates for 2 trips to Las Vegas, for instance. Can we go with another couple? These certificates are not good for group travel. Two couples could each individually redeem certificates for the same city and dates, but there is no guarantee that they would end up staying in the same property. You may request it when you make your reservations with the Reservation Service, but it is not guaranteed. Can I bring my kids? Yes! The rates on the 26 destinations certificates for children are $10.00 per child per night if under 12 years old, and $20.00 per child per night if over 12 years old. What Happens After I Send In the $15.00 Redemption Fee? You will receive a reservation form in the mail within 7 to 10 days after we process your certificate. You will use this reservation form to make your room reservation requests. When you mail in this form, you will pay your room taxes. Of course, you would be paying room taxes for any hotel room you would normally use. Do We Have To Buy Transportation From the Travel Agency? You are not required to purchase transportation from the travel agency. You can make any travel arrangements you would like. Please do not purchase non-refundable travel tickets until you have received written confirmation of your hotel reservations. If you purchase plane tickets in advance, you may have to make changes to accommodate your hotel reservations. Are There Any Times When I Can't Reserve a Room? Hotels are generally filled with paying customers during the week before and after a major holiday. Most of the hotels are also filled with paying customers on weekends, especially in Las Vegas and Orlando. You will need to provide the agency with two date choices of travel on the 26 destination certificates. How Many Other People Use These Certificates? The travel agency handles thousands of reservations each month. Many of those reservations are from repeat customers, which is how they make their money. They get the repeat customers because they deliver what they promise. How Many Travel Packages Can I Buy? On our website, you can buy up to three accommodations packages with your one certificate. This may seem different from a certificate that you received, which tells you to choose one destination, and is through a special arrangement available ONLY through our website. If you choose to send in your certificate by mail and your certificate says to choose one destination, then you still need to choose just one destination. Could you send me a list of hotels I might get in a particular city? Nope! Sorry, but the hotels that participate in our program don't want to let their regular visitors know that they are paying up to twenty times more for the same room. They are uncomfortable about us mentioning that they have hotels in the program, but allow us to mention their names, in a general sense. For example, SOME Ramada hotels are part of the program. That doesn't mean that they all are, and it certainly doesn't mean that you'll be staying at a Ramada in any particular city. That's also one of the reasons you don't get to pick your hotel. Even so, we promise that the worst hotel where you might stay has no less than a three-star rating! You've got nothing to worry about. Purchasing or obtaining these certificates in no way obligates you to travel or spend additional money.
