LOT OF 7 VINTAGE WOMENS LONG GOWNS 1960s 1970s Start Price USD 19.99 Current Price USD 31.00 Time Left - Bid Count 5 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Wednesday, October 08, 2008 End Time Wednesday, October 15, 2008 Location Marcellus, New York See more about 'LOT OF 7 VINTAGE WOMENS LONG GOWNS 1960s 1970s' Description WOMENS VINTAGE GOWNS FROM 1960-1970sWe are back on eBay again after our summer of shows.  We have been buying steadily, and are excited to be back online for the fall and winter and to offer many, many great groups of vintage to our friends here!  As usual we are planning to use the next few weeks or more to sell many great items in groups to make room for our newest inventory.  Please keep an eye out for many lots to come containing womens clothing from the 20s through the 70s with an emphasis on dresses, dresses, and more dresses......  As always, feel free to email any questions, and if you are in need of something that you do not see, let us know!!!  We probably have it!!!In this auction we are listing a group of womens gowns from the 1960s through the early 1970s.  Many or all of these items have issues due to age and wear, but can either be repaired or are fantastic simply for design and fabric.  All can be wearable, some with work.  There are seven items in total, and I will list each in the order of the pictures.    1:  White floral embroidered chiffon over turquoise acetate long gown with puffed sleeves, full skirt, matching velvet belt with back bow and nylon zipper.  Some pinpricks on one front shoulder (from the corsage), a little light yellowing in the lining seams of the underarms, and one small, light mark at the back skirt in the lining only.  Small.  2:  Size 5 long pink acetate blend column gown with chiffon overlay on the skirt and embroidered bust with fabric daisy at the front.  Back nylon zipper.  One tiny pinprick mark on the lining and a few small dusty marks on the chiffon hem- both on the skirt.    3:  Size 7 and same design as the gown above but in white with lace and appliqued embroidered flowers along the neck and high waist.   Very light soiling under the arms.   Just a few tiny marks on the lining and one small hole in the chiffon at the hem- both on the skirt.     4:  Size 5 and same design as above in lemon with applied ruffles and daisies to the bodice and olive velvet ribbon waistband with bow at the back.  The zipper at the back is metal.  This piece has small age marks and soiling along the hem of both the chiffon and lining of the skirt.      5:  Black and white column gown with high mandarin collar, back nylon zipper, and various asian themed scenes on the skirt in glitter.  Long side slit on the skirt.  Light soiling at the inner back neck and under the arms.  One small popped seam at the front waist, and a small brushmark at the center back.  Small to medium.      6:  Carol Brent floral satin brocade and crepe gown with acetate lining and back metal zipper.  Satin ribbon belt at the waist and matching detached brocade panel at the back to create a small train.  Soiling under the arms and watermarks on the inner bodice- both on the lining only.  There is a snap missing on the belt and a few stitches are needed at the top of the back slit in the skirt.  One watermark on the lining of the train at the hem.  Small.      7:  Size 8 Gunne Sax style long peasant gown of swiss dot lavendar sheer cotton blend fabric over an acetate blend.  Great button up bodice and lace and lattice inserts.  Some light soiling on the underarms that shows from the exterior.  The lining of this piece has lightening and darkening in areas- under the arms and then in folds from storage.     Payment may be made by cashiers' check, money order or Paypal.
