LOT 13 VINTAGE WOMENS DRESSES SKIRT BLOUSE 1940s 1950s Start Price USD 19.99 Current Price USD 19.99 Time Left - Bid Count 1 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Monday, October 06, 2008 End Time Monday, October 13, 2008 Location Marcellus, New York See more about 'LOT 13 VINTAGE WOMENS DRESSES SKIRT BLOUSE 1940s 1950s ' Description WOMENS DRESSES, BLOUSE & SKIRT FROM 1940-1950sWe are back on eBay again after our summer of shows.  We have been buying steadily, and are excited to be back online for the fall and winter and to offer many, many great groups of vintage to our friends here!  As usual we are planning to use the next few weeks or more to sell many great items in groups to make room for our newest inventory.  Please keep an eye out for many lots to come containing womens clothing from the 20s through the 70s with an emphasis on dresses, dresses, and more dresses......  As always, feel free to email any questions, and if you are in need of something that you do not see, let us know!!!  We probably have it!!!In this auction we are listing a group of womens vintage dresses, a playsuit, one blouse, and a skirt from the 1940s through the 1950s.  Many or all of these items have issues due to age and wear, but can either be repaired or are fantastic simply for design and fabric.  All can be wearable, some with work.  There are thirteen items in total, and I will list each in the order of the pictures.    1:  Activi-tee red and white rayon blend shirtwaist with button down front, small side pocket and one bodice faux pocket.  Some of the buttons have some damage, one underarm has a split in the seam, and the other needs to be re-sewn at the seam.  There are also a few small holes and areas of wear.  Medium.  2:  Cotton shirtwaist with button down front and matching eyelet lace at the bodice and pocket fronts on the skirt.  Some soiling at the inner neck collar, a few light marks on the bodice, and some marks and one small hole on the skirt.  Large.    3:  Faithful Frocks multicolor cotton print playsuit with metal zipper at the front and wide leg shorts to look like a skirt.  There is a "L" shaped tear under one arm, a popped seam under the other arm, a popped seam at the waist, and a little stitching work needed at the base of the zipper to make it lie flat.  Small to medium.     4:  Blue and white cotton plaid shirtwaist with black stitches throughout.  Button down front, small bow at the neck, and a single side pocket.  A little yellowing under both arms and on a sleeve edge, a small popped seam on the back of one sleeve, and some yellowing at the back of the neck.  This piece has been shortened.  Medium.          5:  H. Gross Classic size 12 white cotton embroidered blouse with back metal zipper.  No issues.  Printed cotton circle skirt with banded waist and side snaps and button for closure.  Some staining and lightened marks and one small hole.  Small.       6:  Plaid cotton day dress with button down front, side pockets, and coordinating collar and front neck bow.  One button is missing and one has paint on it, many marks on the front and a few small ones on the back- some look to be paint.  Some inner neck soiling on the collar.  Large.         7:  Small rose print cotton sheath with side pocket with quilted detail.  Pullover style.  One small mark on the skirt and very slight fading above the pocket.  Medium to large.8:  Striped seersucker cotton dress with  ecru lace detailling the bodice and pockets, shoulder pads, and side hooks.  A little sewing is needed on the lace, in two darts, and under the arms.  There is a popped seam at the waist and under one pocket, and there is some light soiling and a few small stains.  Small.         9:  Casualmaker by Sy Frankel floral print nylon dress with back nylon zipper and matching belt.  Light soiling on the bodice front, one small repair in the seam under one arm, and some very light wear in the seam under the other arm.  Some watermarking on the underside of the belt.  Medium to large. 10:  Shelton Stroller size 18 floral nylon dress with metal zip up front.  There are some small vertical runs in the fabric along the back waist.     11:  Plaid cotton/ linen shirtwaist with button down front and pockets on the bodice.  All but two of the buttons are missing, there are a few small holes along the button line, and there are popped seams under both arms.  Large.12: Cotton sundress with thin shoulder straps, back metal zipper, and ruching on the bodice for fullness.  Tucks or additional darts on the side bodice been removed, and the lines from the stitches still remain- one line has some wear.  There is one light mark on the bodice and a few tiny marks on the front skirt hem.  Medium.     Payment may be made by cashiers' check, money order or Paypal.
