LOT 12 VINTAGE WOMENS DRESSES SUIT JACKET 1960s 1970s Start Price USD 19.99 Current Price USD 41.00 Time Left - Bid Count 7 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Wednesday, October 08, 2008 End Time Wednesday, October 15, 2008 Location Marcellus, New York See more about 'LOT 12 VINTAGE WOMENS DRESSES SUIT JACKET 1960s 1970s' Description WOMENS VINTAGE CLOTHING FROM 1960-1970sWe are back on eBay again after our summer of shows.  We have been buying steadily, and are excited to be back online for the fall and winter and to offer many, many great groups of vintage to our friends here!  As usual we are planning to use the next few weeks or more to sell many great items in groups to make room for our newest inventory.  Please keep an eye out for many lots to come containing womens clothing from the 20s through the 70s with an emphasis on dresses, dresses, and more dresses......  As always, feel free to email any questions, and if you are in need of something that you do not see, let us know!!!  We probably have it!!!In this auction we are listing a group of womens vintage dresses, a suit, a 2pc set, a jacket and a knit top from the 1960s through the early 1970s.  Many or all of these items have issues due to age and wear, but can either be repaired or are fantastic simply for design and fabric.  All can be wearable, some with work.  There are twelve items in total, and I will list each in the order of the pictures.    1:  Teena Paige pink with white trim poly waffle weave mini dress with back metal zipper and small appliqued daisies.  One tiny, faint mark on the hem and a little dust on the sides and shoulders.  Small to medium.  2:  Act III golden wool knit dress with high collar, dropped waist with back matching fabric waistband, and back nylon zipper.  A little matting under both arms, and a few tiny holes or tiny areas of wear in a few places along the skirt hem.  Small to medium.    3:  Bobbie Brooks for petite juniors turquoise cotton weave mini dress with button up front.  This piece has been shortened and hemmed by hand- this should be re-done.  Small.     4:  Purple poly knit trapeze mini dress with plastic ball buttons up the side neck for closure.  One button needs to be re-sewn, and there are a few small drip marks on the front of the dress.  Medium.     5:  Kay Windsor size 10 cherry red wool button up wool blend shirt style mini dress with faux slit front pockets.  One bust dart needs a few stitches, the hem needs a few stitches, and there is one tiny seperation at the front placket- all easy fixes.  Medium.     6:  Size 7 deeper red woven wool shirt mini dress with button up front and single front pocket.  Some matting under the arms, and two tiny holes at the hem.  Two small holes on one sleeve as well.  Small.     7:  Tailored by Glenhaven from The Addis Co. lavender wool suit with acetate lining.   The jacket has light shoulder pads, front pockets, and large buttons at the front, while the pencil skirt has a side nylon zipper and button for closure.  There are just a few light drip marks on the front of the jacket and skirt.  Medium to large.8:  Butte Knit wool size 16 maize geometric print shell and matching skirt.  The top has a back metal zipper while the skirt has a side nylon zipper and button for closure.  The skirt has one small, light mark and the top has some light matting under the arms, and a few small drip marks on the bodice.       9:  Size 18 1/2 acetate knit black shift with white cord and buttons for trim.  Metal zipper up the back.  One small hole near the bodice and a few more holes at the hem.  A few light, dusty marks.  One small repaired area at the back skirt.  The zipper needs to be soaped- it sticks a bit.10:  This deep red and taupe dress is the same bonded knit as above.  It has a dropped waist, wide, pointed collar, and back metal zipper.  The bonded inner backing has a several small holes, and there are some small, dusty smudges on the back.  Medium.     11:  Olive and tan knit zip back shell of the same knit material as the two previous pieces.  Small front buttons.  All of these three garments need cleaning as they still have some lining dust- common in these pieces as they age.  Two small holes under one arm.  Small to medium.12:  Intuitions by Kathy Manning plaid linen jacket with acetate lining and button up front.  Faux front pockets and light shoulder pads.  Light pulling, splitting, and a popped seam in the underarm lining.  Pulling and a tear in the center back lining seam as well.  One small mark and soiling on both sleeve cuffs.  Medium.     Payment may be made by cashiers' check, money order or Paypal.
