LOT 11 VINTAGE WOMENS DRESSES AND 1 ROBE 1940s 1950s Start Price USD 19.99 Current Price USD 52.99 Time Left - Bid Count 3 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Sunday, October 05, 2008 End Time Sunday, October 12, 2008 Location Marcellus, New York See more about 'LOT 11 VINTAGE WOMENS DRESSES AND 1 ROBE 1940s 1950s ' Description WOMENS DRESSES AND ROBE FROM 1940- 1950sWe are back on eBay again after our summer of shows.  We have been buying steadily, and are excited to be back online for the fall and winter and to offer many, many great groups of vintage to our friends here!  As usual we are planning to use the next few weeks or more to sell many great items in groups to make room for our newest inventory.  Please keep an eye out for many lots to come containing womens clothing from the 20s through the 70s with an emphasis on dresses, dresses, and more dresses......  As always, feel free to email any questions, and if you are in need of something that you do not see, let us know!!!  We probably have it!!!In this auction we are listing a group of womens vintage dresses and a robe from the 1940s through the 1950s.  Many or all of these items have issues due to age and wear, but can either be repaired or are fantastic simply for design and fabric.  All can be wearable, some with work.  There are twelve items in total, and I will list each in the order of the pictures.    1:  Howard Uniform stiffened nylon nurses' circle dress with back metal zipper, buttons at the front for decoration, and a single button under the neck for a close fit.  Pockets on the sides.  Two yellowed areas on the skirt and one tiny hole.  Small.  2:  Purple crepe/ faille circle dress with shoulder pads, side metal zipper, and tiny floral glass buttons at the front neck.  Reddening along the shoulders, under the arms, and down the skirt in many places with some scattered pinprick holes and one discolored area at the center front of the skirt as well.   One popped side waist seam.  Small.     3:  Light blue crepe dress with pleats at the bodice, ruching and heavy pads at the shoulders, and back neck and side metal zippers.  All over discoloration and reddening and a few small holes.  Small to medium.     4:  Leisure Life soft cotton tweed robe with light corduroy trim, shoulder pads, and deep pockets.  Wrap style, but in need of snaps and missing its sash.  Just a few tiny holes.  Medium.          5:  Swirling printed nylon dress with back metal zipper and decorative buttons at the front.  A few small scattered holes.  Small to medium.     6:  R&K Original camel wool button front wiggle dress with portrait collar and slit pockets.  Two of the buttons are missing, there is dust on the shoulders, arms, back and collar, and a few scattered moth holes.  Medium.           7:  Tan and brown crochet wiggle dress with nylon backing, back metal zipper, and small hip pockets.  A little yellowing under the arms, and a small pull.  Small to medium.8:  Texas Fashions size 16 1/2 blue printed rayon shirtwaist with matching belt and button up front.  A little yellowing under the arms, one popped seam, and a few small areas of wear on the back skirt.      9:  Lavender plaid  seersucker wiggle dress with opening at the bust and side metal zipper.  Some lightening under the arms and soiled areas at the back skirt hem and bodice.  Large.10:  Brown nylon floral dress with side metal zipper and matching belt and jacket.  A few small holes in the skirt of the dress.  Size 16.     11:  Cay Artley linen sheer blend floral dress with button and snap front and matching jacket.  Half of one snap is missing, and there are a few small holes in the skirt.  Medium.12: Yellow rose printed cotton wrap dress with matching seam binding along the fold back front collar.  A few tiny marks and one long seam that needs to be re-sewn.  Medium.     Payment may be made by cashiers' check, money order or Paypal.
