Items paid for after Sunday 25/8 (Pacific Time) will be shipped on Friday 8/30. Apologies for this delay! A note about color: These pants are a very cool (i.e., blue-leaning) slate gray. The variation in the photos is caused by varying lighting conditions. These terrific Lanvin pants - called "Jogging Pants" on the tag - are from the spring 2008 season (I think). They’re made from an extremely refined 100% cotton double-knit (i.e., a knit fabric of double thickness, but not two layers, created using a special knitting technique). Because of the nature of the knit, they’re only a little bit more stretchy than a woven. The weight of the fabric makes for a wonderful drape. The waist is finished with black grosgrain. There’s a button fly and two trouser pockets, plus one patch pocket in the back. The leg ends haven’t been hemmed in the usual way, but the fabric has been finished on the loom, so it won’t unravel, even if you don’t hem them. Please note these measurements carefully. These are labeled an IT 56. They run rather large, measuring out to about a 40 waist. Cutting them down is quite do-able, but be sure to choose a tailor with a lot of knitwear experience. Actual waist: 41 inches Front rise: 11.5 Back rise: 19.5 Inseam: 34 Distance across leg at crotch, knee, and hem: 14.5, 10, 10.5 These pants are authentic, NWT, and without flaws. They retailed for $898. Feel free to email me with questions.POLICIES Quality of Items Everything I sell is authentic. The vast majority of these items are NWT. Some are NWOT. Occasionally I sell used items, and this is always reflected in the item description. Occasionally I sell flawed or damaged items, and this, too, is always reflected in the item description. Returns Sorry, all sales are final. That means no returns unless I make a serious mistake in the listing. I provide measurements to the best of my ability (and I'm pretty good at taking them). You should view the provided measurements as a close approximation, however. Two people can measure the same garment and get slightly different results, depending on how they go about it. Combined Shipping - US I am happy to combine shipping in most cases. My auctions are not set up to offer this automatically because, last time I checked, there wasn't a way for me to offer it to US customers and not to international customers. If you make multiple purchases, I'll send you an invoice with the correct S&H charge. If you are waiting for other auctions to end, there's no need to pay right away for earlier auctions - but please email me and let me know your plans. Combined Shipping - International The cost of international shipments is more weight-sensitive than the cost of US shipments. This means that I can't ship two items for the price of one. However, shipping a two-pound package doesn't usually cost twice as much as shipping a one-pound package, so there is a sort of discount that takes place. Ultimately, the price I charge for international shipments is based on an estimate of the actual cost. Feel free to email me for an estimate before bidding, if you like. Other US Shipping Policies The service I use in any given instance depends on a number of factors. Sometimes it's UPS Ground, sometimes it's UPS 3-Day Select, and sometimes it's Priority Mail. Insurance up to $100 - and sometimes more - is included. If you have a preference for one of these services, let me know and I'll try to accommodate you. Note that there is usually an additional charge for Three-Day Select. Other International Shipping Policies For most of my auctions, I am happy to ship internationally. (In those rare cases when I won't do it, this will be reflected in the "Will Ship to" information in the auction.) For customs purposes, I am willing to label most shipments as a "gift" of low value. Tracking and/or insurance are sometimes available, but they usually complicate the shipment in one way or another. In general, insuring an international shipment makes it very likely that the package will be inspected by customs and a duty levied. For this reason, most international packages are shipped International First Class uninsured, and at the risk of the buyer/bidder. Bidding or "Buying it Now" indicates your acceptance of this condition. Very few packages are lost, but it does occasionally happen.Affordable Auction Management and Image Hosting Solutions @ inkFrog
