Description
Thank you very much for taking the time to look at my auction. I appreciate your kindness. I was once the owner of Liberated Goods, a multi-period business that catered to reenactors, historical sites, and the motion picture industry. Shortly after the events of September 11, 2001, I discontinued operations and placed the remainder of my collection in storage. Although I hired various contractors over the years to sell this merchandise for me, they did not have the skills necessary to properly market such a wide variety of miscellaneous historical merchandise. In consideration of this fact, I am attempting to liquidate the stock through ebay as I have the time and the availability to do so. This offering is part of this collection. This auction is for a nice early 19th Century (Regency Era) Men’s Coatee in a size 44-46. It was made by a gentleman who served as a historical tailor for the National Park Service. There is quite a bit of hand stitching and is right on target from an authenticity standpoint. The coatee is new and has never been used. In fact, the maker did not finish in that three buttons are missing from the front. Unfortunately, they did not convey with my purchase. NOTICE: Only the item(s) mentioned in the item description are available in this auction. Any props seen in the background are used to market the auctioned item(s) and do not convey.
