Description
Black Brocade Frock Coat Elegant - Classy - Dangerous! This stunning Frock Coat is all this and more! TAG. DO NOT REMOVE TAGS UNLESS YOU ARE SURE YOU DO NOT NEED THEM!-->This Gorgeous Jet black material is just perfect for this coat! Material is Cotton/Polyester blend in a Rococo Brocade designing. Scrolled design is done in Black Cotton design with the Polyester blending adding for a soft silky blackground. This material is perfect for making a definite statement without overdoing it. The design and material type makes for a very sharp and classy design. This coat is perfect for Weddings, Graduations, Colonial Gents, fine Court Rococo Gentlemen and most definitely those swashbuckling Pirates who need to dress just a cut above the rest! This coat is perfect for so many uses. Well made - this coat will last for many years. Frock coat is completely lined with top quality contrasting lining!!! Oversized 5" cuffs are made from silky- silky jet black velvet and finished off with black rope trim for a finished look. Front of the jacket has faux button holes in black scrolled trim and absolutely gorgeous black and gold buttons for just a hint of glitter. Also, as an added bonus a sparkling white lacey Jabot is included in this auction - FREE! This is certainly my favorite pattern to sew from. Jacket is to sit nicely - not too snugly across shoulders and back, and taper gently down past the waist and flare out gently around hips and hem. Front of jacket is cut on bias for a nice flat fit on the chest front. Jacket is made to have a 'gap' amount in the front - this is to show off your Cravat, Jabot and Waistcoat. This amount is included in the measurements below. It is strongly recommended that you carefully check your measurements BEFORE purchase. Especially around the chest and shoulder areas as with the lovely cut of the coat it should fall well from there. The sleeves should also be just an inch or two longer than required so that when you bend your arm the cuff does not ride up to your elbow. I also recommend that you purchase a coat an inch or two larger than your regular shirt size. For example if you wear a 42" shirt - I would suggest a 44" coat..this insures good movement at the chest for swordfights and also does not fit too snugly and sits nicely. But please take the time measure and ask any and all questions BEFORE purchase as this is a costume and is non-refundable. Vest and shirt shown are not included in this listing. MEASUREMENTS Chest: 44-46 (w/ 3" gap) Shoulder seam to cuff end: 25" Back neck to back hem: 41 Neck to shoulder seam: 6 1/2" Around Armhole: 21" CHECK INTO MY STORE FOR MATCHING KNEE PANTS - VESTS AND OTHER FABULOUS FROCK COATS.! Shiny items sometimes reflect and are indistinct, the sparkling white Frock coats can be interesting to photgraph. However, if you are not sure as to the detail of my jackets, please do email before hand, I love to talk costumes and will answer your questions. I have recently had an issue with a customer who assumed the buttons were gold with military crests but did not ask any questions and of course, was dissapointed when he received the coat. I make every effort to make these coats top of the line and they are a great labour of love, so please - no unhappy customers - just ask!On 05-Jun-08 at 18:25:34 EDT, seller added the following information: Sellers: Delight buyers.
