This  6 blade version I've heard is much harder to find than the 4 blade version. This fan works srongly and noticeably different on all three speeds. Ive run it for 2-3 hours at a stretch and have had no nasty smells or noises come from it. The cord is a replacement, and the blades were sprayed by someone with spray can lacquer and the end result was less than perfect. Easily re-surfaceable.
