The front and back yoke, neckline, sleeves and sleeve trim are of lace. The front yoke is eyelet and has a design which looks like three petal flower. Five of these tiny designs span across the yoke. The back yoke is of the same soft, dainty handkerchief material as the gown. There is an one inch band of eyelet around the bottom of the skirt 4 1/2" from the very bottom. There are two buttons in the back the bottom of which is missing. The gown measure 33" long from the top of the neck to the bottom front, 35" from the back neck top to the bottom (yes, the gown was made to be longer in the back than the front), 6 1/2" from shoulder seam to shoulder seam, 9" from the shoulder seam to the tip of the sleeve(includes the lace in the measurement), 9" across the front from just under the arm to just under the arm, and 8 1/2" around the neck. The gown does have a few repairs. I see some hand stitching around the arm/shoulder seam and under the arm and a few repairs on the front of the gown down around the bottom which look to have been slits at one time. They pretty much disappear with the gathers of the gown. I find no current holes, rips or tears. This is an estate find and could use a gentle wash. I see no real dirty spots or stains, just over all a little dirty. This would be beautiful on a vintage doll or hanging in a vintage bed or bathroom. We package your items with great care.
