FAQ: Why gloves are made out of two lambskins? Leather for gloves and high end accessories is made out of young lambs. Skins are very small and the maximum length of skins for top grade glove leather can be 24" (please note that it is uncut). If you see that gloves are made 30" long from one skin - it is not young lamb- it is goat leather or cow leather was sanded (which reduces the quality of the leather itself and lifespan).
