This outfit retailed for a total of $10K (coat was $6645 and skirt was $2920) and in my opinion, was the MOST WEARABLE, COMPLETELY LUX, and SUPER YOUNG AND MODERN SET OF THE ENTIRE COLLECTION. For starters, it is made in THE coolest tweedy deep plum and black fabric with just a bit of small shimmering paillettes thrown atop --- just enough glam to scream CHANEL! Then there's the matter of the ADORABLE, BOW TRIMMED EDGES GOING GOING ON THROUGHOUT (each bow is made of wool fabric mixed with black tulle – adding even more dimention)! Finally, the cut is completely perfect as well (for both pieces), STRAIGHT PEACOAT CUT, STAND-UP COLLAR, BRACELET SLEEVES (these are meant to be this way, are NOT alterations and almost the ENTIRE 07A collection sported bracelet sleeves – in this jacket the sleeves hit at the wrist bone – at least this is how they hit me and I’m a perfect Chanel size 40) and COOLEST PATCH FRONT POCKETS for the JACKET. The best part is that the JACKET is THICK enough and LONG ENOUGH to be worn as a FALL, SPRING and EVEN WINTER (for milder climates, not in the cold winter nights of New England) COAT!!! The jacket will cover your bottom looks AMAZING WITH JEANS or black slacks – for a COMPLETELY POLISHED CHANEL LOOK! The skirt is ADORABLE AS WELL – LOVE THE CUT: HIGH WAIST, FITTED TO THE HIP BONES AND THEN FLAIRS OUT A BIT WITH LARGE PLEATS, and has two CUTE SLIT POCKETS IN FRONT! The length is FLIRTATIOUSLY short – but not too short – hits a long legged 5”8 woman 1-2” above the knee – VERY APPROPRIATE AND NOT SO MINI! Both pieces are SO well made, of course, with pristine attention to detail (buttons with CC mini-logos, gorgeous seaming, full black silk camellia pattern lining, silver toned chain at the bottom hem, etc etc)!!!!! It's also in absolutely PERFECT BRAND NEW condition, with its tags and 2 fabric swatches for hanging the skirt without damaging the fabric. Sadly, I never wore this suit last year, and now I noted that the skirt is simply too small for me…and I don’t have the heart to sell just the skirt… So, off goes my favorite suit… MEASUREMENTS: JACKET/COAT: SIZE FRENCH 40 and PERFECT FOR US 6/8. ARM PIT TO ARM PIT (BUST): 19" flat WAIST: 20" flat SLEEVES: 21.25"; SHOULDER TO SHOULDER IN BACK: 16.5" LENGTH: 25.5” from top of shoulder to bottom. Please note that because the jacket is a peacoat, you could move the buttons a few inches if you need more room at the bust. SKIRT: SIZE FRENCH 38 and PERFECT FOR US 4/6. Flat measurements are as follows: WAIST: 14“, HIPS: 19“, LENGTH (from natural waist to bottom hem): 18“. I THINK THE OUTFIT WILL FIT A US SIZE 6 PERFECTLY as the JACKET RUNS ON THE SMALL SIDE, but please know what you wear in Chanel as poor fit is not my responsibility and please check the measurements!
