It is in Mint Condition and looks close to new as you'll ever find I believe. This wonderful Vintage, but new looking hat has a pinched front and a bound edge. I would rate this hat as 9.9 EXCELLENT CONDITION on a 10 Scale. This near-mint hat is a SIZE: 7 and 3/8th inches. It does have its original hat tag stating the size. I took a measurement with a cloth tape measure around the inside of the sweatband and its circumference measures 23 inches. The crown is 5 inches tall, and the Brim measures approximately 2 and 1/2 inches. The material is a very fine dark almost moss-greenish color felt. The Grossgrain Hat Band measures 2 inches High and is a very nice contrasting Dark Olive color. The Band is set-off nicely with its Bow and a very nice quality Feather. There is no visible wear or discoloration on the exterior or interior of this hat at all. Because of the camera flash I think the hat appears slightly lighter in color in my pictures than it does in person. The inside of the crown is lined in a shimmering satin white color silk. with the '40s-style STETSON Logo imprinted in the center and under a panel of protective clear plastic. The sweatband is gold-embossed brown pebble-grain leather, with the standard ROYAL STETSON imprint on one side and the other side of sweatband states: Edward Bridgeman Hatter, One Rector Street, New York. Good news for you larger hat-size guys like myself. This hat is that hard-to-find size 7 3/8, with an interior circumference of 23 inches. Thanks so much for taking the time to consider this one.
