Description
Offered here is a really nice Scottish military regimental sporran. I'm not sure exactly which regiments it is, but have been told it is one of the Highlanders units. I have also been told it is from the turn of the century, is likely World War I era. It measures approximately 19 inches from the top of the frame to the bottom of the hair, and approximately 8 inches across. It is an overall very good condition with no major rips tears are missing hair. And that sure of the badge is silver, or silver plate, but it is of a gentleman with a robe holding a large X in his arms surrounded by a wreath. The black leather is a bit crazed, but overall solid with no serious wear. The back pouch is made of nice supple leather, and has a patina. The one leather loophole has separated at one end, but would be an easy fix for a leatherman. This is a really nice honest example, and I have placed a $49 opening bid on this item with no reserve. Take a very good look at the photographs, and ask any questions before you bid, because this item is being sold as found. Thanks for looking good luck bidding.
